The DNA of the NALC is to become and make 1st century disciples in the 21st century. One of the avenues of becoming more authentic disciples is inviting each congregation to discover three partners: local, national, and global. The primary vision of the international missions team is connecting congregations with international partners.

What are some ways in which these partnerships develop? We encourage persons to experience short mission trips. Through these personal ventures, friendships develop. And congregations continue for months and years these relationships. Both partners — we in the U.S. and others globally — richly benefit.

The International Mission Team’s primary goals for 2015 will be focusing on developing a strategy for encouraging more full-time missionaries. The team will also be working with Theologians Without Borders to share our resources (our pastors and lay leaders) around the world where people are desperate for teaching and instruction.
