The NALC is offering a series of seven regional conferences focusing on renewal in congregations and mission starts in 2014.

The theme of these conferences, “The Missional Church,” is based in Acts 2:42-47. This Scripture passage gives a brief snapshot of life in the early Church. Each of the large group sessions is based on key points from this passage.  The conferences feature a time of worship, small group breakout sessions, and large group teaching sessions presented by the Rev. Dr. Gemechis Buba.

The Midwest Regional Gathering will be hosted by First Lutheran Church (Manchester, IA) beginning on August 8th at 5:30 PM and concluding on August 9th at 3:30 PM. There is no cost for the conference itself. However, participants are responsible for their own travel costs, lodging, and some meals.

For registration or more information, please contact Pastor Ken Kimball, Dean of the Iowa Mission District, at [email protected] or 563-535-7698 (church office) or 563-419-6181 (cell).
